The Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education is inviting applications for temporary custodians in Colchester, East Hants, Pictou, and Cumberland Counties. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of modern cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. This position may lead to permanent employment, providing an excellent pathway for dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness in schools across multiple regions

• Utilize modern cleaning methods and equipment

• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met

• Participate in Custodial Training Program

• Provide own transportation to work sites

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 high school diploma or GED

• Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License

• Willing to complete WHMIS and first aid training

• Successful criminal record and child abuse register checks

• Experience in custodial work is an asset
