Project ManagerResponsibilities focus on leading all innovation and new product launch projects, from concept to market launch.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with co‑manufacturers, including trials, start‑ups, production follow‑ups, and issue resolution.
- Manage the administrative and financial tracking of funded projects, providing technical and financial reports to government bodies.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (R&D, production, quality assurance, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and adjust project schedules based on priorities and unforeseen issues.
- Prepare and present progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with co‑manufacturers for the production of outsourced products.
- Ensure communication and compliance with technical specifications to subcontracted partners.
- Oversee the quality and compliance of outsourced products by organizing regular audits and production follow‑ups.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve existing products and processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, product performance improvement, or process efficiency gains.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand market expectations and customer needs.
- Support production teams in resolving technical issues encountered during the manufacturing of new products.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management within the agri‑food, beverage, or consumer goods industries.
- Experience in packaging (development, testing, and validation in‑house or with a subcontractor).
- Retail experience considered an asset.
- Demonstrates flexibility and openness to evolving projects and shifting priorities.
- Excellent ability to mobilise multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
Base pay: CA $70,000.00/yr – CA $90,000.00/yr.
