** About the Role**## As a
** Grape Sorter**, you'll be a key player in the winemaking process. You'll work on the sorting line during harvest, ensuring only the highest-quality grapes make it into our wines. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that’s ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, a great team atmosphere, and being immersed in nature.## ##
** Key Responsibilities*** ## Sort and remove leaves, stems, underripe or damaged grapes from freshly harvested fruit* ## Operate and monitor sorting equipment under guidance* ## Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of sorting area and tools* ## Work closely with the cellar and vineyard team to support harvest operations* ## Uphold quality and safety standards at all times## ##
** Work Environment*** ## Outdoor and indoor work, primarily on the crush pad with sweeping views of the lake and vineyards* ## Must be comfortable standing for long periods and working in varying weather conditions* ## Harvest typically runs from mid September to end of October, with extended or flexible hours during peak times## ##
** What We’re Looking For*** ## No previous experience required—just a great attitude and strong work ethic* ## Ability to work efficiently in a team setting* ## Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs* ## Punctual, reliable, and attentive to detail* ## Enthusiasm for wine and a love for the outdoors is a bonus!## ##
