Position: Press Operator at Simpson Strong-Tie
Step into a pivotal role with Simpson Strong-Tie as a Press Operator in Stockton, CA. This full-time position involves operating an automatic stamping press while ensuring safety and production goals are met every shift.

In this swing shift role, you will handle a progressive stamping press and all associated equipment to produce high-quality products. With an emphasis on safety, quality inspections, and efficient production processes, your role is critical to the manufacturing team. You'll also assist with press setups and maintain a clean workspace while operating a forklift to manage materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate automatic stamping press for production needs

• Conduct quality inspections on products as required

• Nest, package, and palletize products efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

• Assist in press setups and changeovers while ensuring safety

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Six months manufacturing experience or equivalent

• PIT certification (will certify at hire)

• Ability to read and interpret production drawings

• Strong communication and self-management skills
