Crusher Operator - Join AIM

American Iron & Metal seeks a Crusher Operator for our Laval site. This full-time role involves crushing cars and requires travel to various worksites while ensuring safety and compliance.

In your role as Crusher Operator, you'll report to the Automotive Crushing Department Manager. Your duties will include operating loaders and crushers, preparing vehicle carcasses, and completing necessary documentation. You must demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to travel frequently to different sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate equipment for crushing vehicles

• Maneuver loaders and monitor machinery operations

• Load crushed materials onto trucks for transport

• Document daily activities through reporting

• Comply with health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license needed

• Minimum one year operating heavy machinery

• Vocational diploma in equipment operation an asset

• Solid grasp of the Highway Safety Code

• Capacity to work autonomously and efficiently
