Ladies Apparel Pattern Making Specialist

As a Fit Technician / Pattern Maker, you will develop executable garments that meet Laura Canada standards. You will prepare specifications, assess samples, and make corrections through pre-production. Your supplier comments will document improvements, updated patterns, graded specifications, and final production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop patterns aligned with sketches and Laura Canada standards
Prepare specification sheets for garment production
Conduct fitting sessions using live models
Verify corrections on subsequent fit samples
Send final comments and graded specifications to suppliers
Requirements:
Diploma in fashion design or equivalent garment techniques
Three to five years as a ladies’ apparel Pattern Maker
Knowledge of garment construction and industry standards
Understanding of grading requirements
Microsoft Office proficiency; PAD, CLO3D, and PLM knowledge assets
Bring technical pattern development, sample fitting, and grading knowledge to Laura Canada’s ladies’ apparel production process.
