Responsibilities
Write, edit, adapt, review, and format copy for online and print communications, advertising, promotional collateral, video, and social mediaProtect and contribute to a consistent written voice for the Firm, ensuring all communications adhere to MNP’s brand standardsSupport national and regional marketing managers by producing assets that align with MNP’s communications best practices and strategic marketing objectivesCollaborate with stakeholders to provide value-added insight on messaging and creative strategyUnderstand the nuances of voice and content for different regions, services, and industry groupsConduct interviews and research to ensure content is accurate and currentWork closely with digital marketing specialists to build search-optimized content (SEO)Maintain awareness of the Canadian Press Style and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada standards and stipulations for rules in advertisingMaintain awareness of Office de la langue française for Quebec requirements and best practicesMaintain competitive industry knowledgeContribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processesSkills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or creative writing3 to 5 years of written communication experienceStrong understanding of journalistic best practices and marketing principlesFluency with Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional services or agency experience is considered an assetWritten and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in EnglishDemonstrated experience developing SEO and thought leadership content is an assetAwareness and understanding of generative AI is an asset
