Deliver exceptional care as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care. Join a dedicated team focusing on patient safety and quality care while working flexible night shifts.
As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to stable residents under the guidance of management. Your hands-on experience will include patient assessments and administering medications while adhering to the standards set by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key to ensuring effective care plans are executed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care to complex, stable residents
• Perform assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications per established guidelines
• Support multidisciplinary team communication
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards of practice
Requirements:
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Experience with Mental Health and/or Substance Use is beneficial
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to organize and implement care
• Physical capacity to perform job duties
