In this full time RPN role, you will implement professional nursing care for long-term seniors, reflecting the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Ideal candidates will possess experience in a residential facility and have excellent communication skills, along with proficiency in Point Click Care . You will play a vital role within a collaborative team, ensuring residents receive personalized and attentive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care with assessment and planning
• Administer prescribed medications correctly
• Document health changes promptly and accurately
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Mentor and assist PSWs in delivering effective care
Requirements:
• Active RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Previous work in long-term care preferred
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Patient and respectful engagement with older adults
• Up-to-date CPR, First Aid, and immunizations
