Become a Geriatric Registered Practical Nurse at Age Care and provide dedicated nursing care for our residents. Collaborate with a nurturing health care team to ensure quality services and support.
In the role of Registered Practical Nurse at Age Care, you will deliver essential nursing care guided by professional nursing standards. You will work closely with Registered Nurses and other health care partners to meet residents' care needs. Your responsibilities include mentoring Personal Support Workers and engaging in daily communication about resident status.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing practices per established policies
• Liaise with physicians regarding care adjustments
• Direct Personal Support Workers' activities in care
• Participate in health care team meetings for updates
• Ensure compliance with health care regulations
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses
• Background in long-term and rehabilitation care
• Understanding of relevant health legislation
• Strong interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Commitment to providing high-quality resident care
