In this pivotal role, the California Nursing Director will oversee nursing services across various residential programs. Collaborating with HR, you will be instrumental in recruiting and mentoring nursing staff while ensuring all teams meet statutory training and compliance requirements. This position emphasizes a proactive approach to nursing excellence and accountability for service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care
• Develop and organize staff hiring and training strategies
• Monitor compliance with medical regulations and practices
• Participate in regional and department nursing committees
• Lead evaluations and audits for nursing services effectiveness
Requirements:
• Current active Registered Nurse license from California
• Five years nursing experience, three with I/DD populations
• Minimum two years in a supervisory role in healthcare
• Ability to travel regularly and respond to on-call needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
