Part-Time Clinical Informatics Educator

Shape health care education at Whitehorse General Hospital as a Part-Time Clinical Informatics Educator. Enhance nurse and physician competencies in Health Care Information Systems (HCIS).

This part-time position, effective from September 14, 2026, to November 30, 2027, requires a Baccalaureate/Diploma in Nursing and clinical experience.

Your role focuses on developing educational programs for the HCIS, collaborating closely with nursing directors and clinical managers to ensure a competent health care team. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate educational tools and programs

• Assess and implement training needs for HCIS

• Facilitate onboarding for new employees and medical staff

• Collaborate with Clinical Care Managers and educators

• Evaluate delivery of patient care through HCIS

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate/Diploma in Nursing, registered in Yukon

• Five years of clinical nursing experience

• One to two years as an educator/instructor

• Strong knowledge of MEDITECH systems

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
