As a Registered Nurse at Providence Care, you will work with patients requiring complex psychiatric care, utilizing your clinical skills to enhance their independence and wellness. Collaborating closely with clinical teams and families, you will develop effective nursing care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. This role demands a compassionate approach, strong nursing expertise, and a commitment to excellence in care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather detailed nursing histories from patients and families
• Create comprehensive nursing care plans collaboratively
• Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
• Implement medical regimes with precision
• Review and modify nursing care plans based on patient feedback
Requirements:
• Current, unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent experience in psychiatric care settings
• BSc.N. preferred for consideration
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong critical thinking skills for patient evaluations
