Location: Accepting candidates based in Western Canada (Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver preferred) or Ontario.
Rotation: Site-based rotation may apply when needed (e.g., 14 days on / 12 off) to project sites in northern Canada or northern Ontario.

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Specialist to support major mining and construction projects. The Reporting Specialist will consolidate data across departments and deliver clear, accurate, and actionable insights through weekly and monthly reports. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can transform complex project information into meaningful dashboards to support leadership and project teams in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple project departments (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reports for leadership and project control teams.
- Build and manage dashboards using Power BI (or equivalent tools) to visualize project performance and trends.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with estimators, planners, cost controllers, and contract administrators to align reporting with project needs.
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems and stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement in reporting processes and tools.
- Prior exposure to mining, energy, or large infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with project controls functions (estimating, cost control, planning, contracts).
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in project reporting, data analysis, or related roles within mining, construction, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong expertise in Power BI (required) and MS Excel; knowledge of other reporting or project control tools is an asset.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Willingness to travel to remote project sites and work on rotation, if required.
