The challenges that await you
Your missions
Surveillance and presence in the field
- Patrolling neighborhoods and parks
- Support during events: traffic diversion and peaceful crowd management
Traffic and road safety
- Management of vehicular, pedestrian, and cyclist traffic
- Assignments in key areas such as Place Bell
Municipal regulations
- Monitoring parking violations and other local regulations
Prevention and community relations
- Participation in crime prevention campaigns
- Courtesy tickets, distribution of flyers, engraving
- Info-Police, Info-Crime, and dissemination of information to citizens
Service to citizens and representation
- Participation in fairs, job expos, conferences, and open houses
Selection process
It includes, among other things:
- An interview
- A psychometric evaluation
- A security clearance
- A medical examination
- A comprehensive review of the file
The ideal profile for us
- Motivated by a future police career
- Currently a student in police techniques
- Available year-round on a variable schedule, during the day and evening (schedule adapted for students)
- Possess a class 5 driver's license;
- Have a valid CPR training with proof of certification.
