Position: Counselor Roles for Transitional Aged Youth
Join Larkin Street Youth Services as a Residential Counselor focused on empowering young adults in San Francisco. This full-time role emphasizes client support and community safety.

As part of Larkin Street, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance to youth aged 18-25 living in transitional housing. You’ll inspire clients to pursue their goals, manage community spaces for safety, and offer emotional support. This position also involves teaching essential life skills and working closely with colleagues to deliver comprehensive client care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide clients in their personal and professional development

• Ensure joy and safety in community living spaces

• Help clients navigate social and emotional challenges

• Analyze and organize client information for case management

• Work with staff to provide seamless services

Requirements:

• Experience with at-risk youth or TAY is preferred

• Knowledge of trauma-informed and restorative practices

• Reliable, personable, and a self-starter

• In-person work environment; no remote options

• Flexibility to work holidays when required
