Position: USC Patient Advocate Role
Become a vital part of patient care as a Patient Advocate ng advocacy skills, enhance experiences for patients and families while managing complaints and expectations.

The USC healthcare team is looking for a Patient Advocate to empower patients dealing with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Your role will include facilitating informed decision-making, managing complaint processes, and implementing the NOW Service Recovery Program. By creatively addressing patient needs from diverse backgrounds, you will play a pivotal role in service improvement and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support patients in understanding their medical options

• Handle complaints, documenting all interactions

• Distribute and manage service recovery tools

• Educate staff on the NOW Service Recovery approach

• Lead the Patient and Family Advisory Council initiatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma mandatory;
Bachelor's preferred

• Minimum 4 years of experience in acute care

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Capable of thriving with minimal supervision

• Must complete Fire Life Safety Training within LA City
