Position: Relief Counselor for Transitional Aged Youth
Larkin Street Youth Services seeks a Relief Counselor to support homeless youth in achieving their goals in San Francisco. This on-call position focuses on counseling and safety within housing programs.

Engage directly with the youth and help them navigate challenges while promoting dignity and recovery. As a part of a skilled and diverse team, you will inspire youth through personal interaction and life skills modeling. Your contribution will enhance the overall safety and community within various housing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide clients in overcoming personal challenges

• Maintain safety and joy in community environments

• Conduct rounds and perform checks within facilities

• Model appropriate life and social skills

• Support collaborative efforts for client success

Requirements:

• Commitment to Larkin Street’s mission

• Experience with youth of diverse backgrounds

• Reliable and personable with strong communication

• Flexibility to pick up shifts and work holidays

• Previous experience in social services preferred
