Join Crusoe as a Compute Production Engineer and transform AI infrastructure. This role focuses on supporting virtualization and optimizing performance for modern AI workloads.
At Crusoe Energy Systems, your work will be central to building sustainable, AI-first cloud infrastructure. With over 8 years in Compute Site Reliability Engineering or Linux system engineering, you will develop automation and observability tools while supporting the company's virtualization stack. Collaboration with both Linux kernel and hardware teams will help you tackle performance bottlenecks and driver issues for enhanced scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tools to monitor compute infrastructure
• Support and scale virtualization technologies like KVM and QEMU
• Optimize AI and HPC workloads across compute resources
• Conduct root-cause analysis for performance issues
• Tune kernel subsystems for improved efficiency
Requirements:
• 8+ years in Compute SRE or Linux engineering
• Proficiency in Linux kernel internals
• Experience with KVM, Xen, or VMware
• Knowledge of SmartNICs and driver subsystems
• Strong skills in Go, C, or Rust
