As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work on the design and integration of advanced microscopes, utilizing your engineering and software development expertise. Familiarity with light-sheet microscopy will be beneficial, and your collaborative spirit will help advance exciting scientific projects. This position allows for in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prototype and integrate subsystems for light-sheet microscopes
• Create modular software for equipment control in Python
• Design adaptive imaging protocols incorporating feedback loops
• Collaborate on new features for experimental systems
• Maintain clear documentation of designs and workflows
Requirements:
• MS or PhD in relevant engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of C/C++
• Electronics and embedded systems proficiency (4+ years)
• Experience in CAD design and prototyping methods
