Position: Machine Learning Engineer at Atoms
Join Atoms as a Machine Learning Engineer and lead the way in bending AI to the needs of the real world. This role requires expertise in robotics, model optimization, and physical actuation in an on-site capacity in San Francisco.

As a key member of the founding team at Atoms, you’ll work on groundbreaking problems in physical AI, contributing to autonomous transport platforms. We're looking for someone with 4+ years of experience to bridge AI research with practical implementation. Responsibilities span multiple areas, including AI research, model optimization, and data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research reinforcement learning techniques for trajectory planning

• Develop multimodal models for real-time vehicle actuation

• Optimize models for low-latency deployment on edge devices

• Architect data ingestion pipelines for complex datasets

• Ensure model adaptability in diverse environments

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional machine learning experience

• Strong background in robotics and AI Transformers

• Proficiency in Python, and experience with C++

• Familiar with model optimization tools like TensorRT

• Experience with multi-sensor data processing
