At Wind Borne Systems, you'll take part in groundbreaking research at the intersection of machine learning and meteorology. This role focuses on AI-based data assimilation, developing foundational weather models, and tackling complex datasets. Enthusiasm for machine learning is crucial, alongside strong skills in Python and PyTorch for effective model development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop AI methods for real-time data assimilation
• Create a comprehensive foundation model for weather variables
• Clean and combine large, complex weather datasets
• Rapidly test and refine experimental results
• Build reusable systems from successful experiments
Requirements:
• Strong research design and hypothesis formulation skills
• Deep understanding of machine learning principles
