Join the Virality & Activation team as a Backend Software Engineer, focusing on AI-native product experiences. Drive user activation and growth through effective backend systems.
In this role, you’ll merge product thinking with engineering expertise, impacting how users discover and engage with the product. You will work on backend systems for onboarding, share flows, and notifications. Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to enhance features and iterate on growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build backend systems for activation and viral features
• Instrument new features with analytics for user behavior
• Participate in A/B experiments to inform product decisions
• Write clean, maintainable code for team collaboration
• Address issues in existing systems beyond assigned scope
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• 2–4 years of backend software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and Django
• Familiarity with MySQL and No
SQL data stores
• Exposure to AWS services for cloud infrastructure
