Class A HazMat Field Technician

Position: Class A HazMat Field Technician Role
Become a Haz Mat Field Driver/Technician at Republic Services and help transport waste safely and efficiently. This position involves driving Class A trucks and adhering to stringent safety regulations.

In this role, you will operate vehicles including tankers and tractor-trailers, performing essential pickups and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. Your schedule may vary between weekdays with occasional overnight shifts, but your weekends remain mostly free. Effective communication with customers is key to maintaining satisfaction during service times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate a variety of commercial trucks

• Execute LTL (less than load) waste pickups

• Maintain accurate trip and driver documentation

• Conduct inspections per DOT requirements

• Uphold customer service excellence in interactions

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsements

• Ability to handle physical labor in loading/unloading

• Complete 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire

• Strong adherence to safety and operational protocols

• Understanding of weight limit laws
