Position: Dependable Class 1 Driver Opportunity
Join Canada Cartage as a Class 1 Driver, focusing on local and regional deliveries with a commitment to professional customer service. This position offers a day shift schedule for dedicated drivers.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will engage with a well-respected transportation team.

Your role involves safely operating commercial vehicles and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Deliver efficiently while taking pride in maintaining a clean driving record along with the yard's organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle efficiently

• Drive safely in both city and highway settings

• Keep yard areas clean and organized for traffic flow

• Conduct regular safety checks on trailers

• Lift weights of up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence with at least 6 months experience

• Must be bondable and eligible to work in Canada

• Recent driver’s abstract (within last 30 days)

• Strong ability to communicate with customers

• Proficient in maneuvering delivery vehicles in tight spaces
