Become a vital part of 407 ETR as a Field Operations Patroller in Woodbridge. Ensure safety and maintenance on the highway while operating in all weather conditions and responding to emergencies.
The Field Operations Patroller manages 24/7 highway patrol, identifies hazardous conditions, and directs maintenance efforts. This role requires a strong decision-making ability while working independently, especially outside regular office hours. The patroller plays a critical role in winter maintenance and incident response, collaborating with emergency services as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol the highway corridor assessing road conditions
• Direct maintenance operations based on assessed needs
• Conduct annual inspections of roadway assets
• Assist in emergency situations and traffic control
• Coordinate winter maintenance operations effectively
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in road maintenance or construction
• Knowledge of road repair and inspection techniques
• Valid Class DZ driver's license required
• Ability to work rotating shifts, day and night
