Job Description ###

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing orders, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to support smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes.### Duties
* Select items from inventory using order picker equipment, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders
* Load and unload shipments utilizing forklifts, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
* Operate cranes and other machinery for heavy lifting or construction-related tasks as needed
* Pack products securely for shipment, verifying order details against packing lists
* Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory updates within warehouse management systems
* Assist in organizing warehouse space for optimal efficiency and safety
* Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery
* Support warehouse management in stock replenishment, inventory counts, and cycle counts### Skills
* Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
* Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other warehouse machinery
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
* Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and load/unload operations
* Experience with order picking using electronic or manual systems
* Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is a plus
* Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
* Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
