Food Services Assistant (Substitute) On Call — Centinela Valley Union High School District
Job posting:
Classified announcement. This is an open recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the Food Services Assistant classification.
- Type: On call as needed. These positions work Monday–Friday.
- Compensation: Range 17;
Schedule M;
Step 1: $18.76 hourly - Testing procedure: The examination process will consist of a written examination.
- Application status: Applicants will be notified via email regarding their status. Those selected to participate in the testing process will receive additional details, including the date and location of the exam, once the schedule is finalized.
Under the direction of a Cafeteria Manager or another assigned supervisor, prepare, warm and serve hot and cold menu items to students and staff at an assigned school; maintain the kitchen and food service areas in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
Minimum qualifications- Experience: At least one year of experience in school, commercial, institutional or retail food service, or manufacturing.
- Education: Graduation from high school, or equivalent to the completion of twelfth grade, is desired but not required.
