Starting Rate: $16.90 per hour

We are seeking a friendly, customer‑focused individual with a passion for food and community to join our El Super Store Operations Team.

• Provide exceptional customer service in the bakery department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean and maintain shelving, display cases, and self‑serve displays.
• Help determine which items need to be baked or decorated in coordination with the Baker.
• Assist in department cleaning, including floor washing with soap and water.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
