Coaching Stipend:- Coaching stipend per Collective UNESCO for current employees
- Coaching stipend of $5897 per season for walk‑on coaches
Under the direction of the Principal or their designee, responsible for coaching a varsity team and performing related duties as required. For the 2026‑2027 school year, note the following:
- Managing TPS lower level teams, staff, and logistics
- Responsible for supervision and conduct of players and staff
- Responsible for fundraising as needed
- Game day field preparation as needed
- At least four years of experience as a varsity football coach at the high school level or higher OR experience as a NCAA or Professional football player
- At least one year experience as a football coach in the CIF Playoffs OR higher level football postseason experience
- Ability to explain, demonstrate, and analyze fundamental skills and strategies
- Ability to meet all CIF Coaching requirements and certifications
- Ability to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
- Knowledge of CIF Rules and Regulations pertaining to football
- Experience with HUDL or similar film review software
Qualifications:
- At least four years of experience as a head varsity football coach at the high school level or higher
- Winning percentage of at least 50% in season and playoffs as a head coach
- Knowledge of NCAA Clearinghouse Requirements
- Experience as a college or professional football player
- Demonstrated success with booster clubs and fundraising
- Demonstrated
NN success with the development of a team stat high academic achievement
- Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions, promoting individual growth in athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
- Prepare field/courts on game Bakan needed logistics for all lower level competitions.
- Check and respond to center Outlook email regularly.
- Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs of student‑athletes.
- Coordinate the development and promotion of the specific program.
- Work with other school staff to plan and implement instructional goals to ensure overall educational development of student athletes.
- Ensure all coaches work together toward a common goal within the program and provide unity across all levels.
- Establish performance criteria for competition and evaluate students’ athletic abilities initially and regularly.
- Develop a regular practice schedule and organize practice time for individual and developments.
- Hold a preseason meeting with athletes and parents before the first official game.
- Assess players’ skills and assign team positions.
- Determine game strategy based on the team’s capabilities.
- Monitor and enforce student eligibility criteria for extracurricular participation.
- Apply and enforce student discipline during contests, practices, and trips off school property.
- Encourage sportsmanlike conduct in all phases of athletic participation at Episodes times.
- Take precautions to protect student‑athletes, equipment, and facilities, including protecting students from hazing and bullying.
- Maintain and secure equipment and uniforms.
- Oversee cleaning, repairing, and storing all athletic equipment.
- Communicate with the Athletic Director to ensure compliance with all pertinent CIF regulations, including eligibility forms, transfer forms, and grade reports.
- Instruct and advise students on NCAA regulatory academic requirements for scholarships and recruiting practices.
- Assist student athletes with college recruitment.
- Assist the Athletic Director with game scheduling and coordinate arrangements.
- Act as a team representative and promote the sport with the media and other organizations.
- Participate in special activities, archaeological senior nights, banquets, award nights, and pep assemblies.
- Conduct conferences with parents or guardians regarding athletic performance.
- Coordinate with the ATC and follow established procedures in the event of an injury.
