Medical Assistant I - Primary Care, Broomall
Christiana Care is looking to hire a Full‑Time Medical Assistant to support the Primary Care practice in Broomall.
Base pay range: $19.10/hr - $27.69/hr
Job overview: Provide patient support for virtual and on‑site visits, assist physicians during examinations, maintain EMR records, and perform administrative duties.
Work schedule- Monday to Friday:
Day shift - No weekends/holidays
- Preference for a future rotating schedule within a 7 AM–6 PM window
- Greet and support patients virtually or onsite.
- Room patients for on‑site visits, prepare for virtual visits, and take/vital vitals.
- Assist clinicians with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
- Complete patient‑specific paperwork as required.
- Maintain up‑to‑date EMR information.
- Relay patient callbacks per provider direction.
- Perform sterilization of medical equipment per state guidelines.
- Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

- Preferred: 2+ years’ experience as a Medical Assistant.
