Associate Dentist / Managing Clinical Director

Dentists play a vital role in the dental industry, providing comprehensive oral healthcare services to patients of all ages. They are responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, such as tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections. Dentists work with a range of tools and techniques to perform procedures like dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and the placement of crowns, bridges, and dental implants.

They also focus on preventive care, educating patients about proper oral hygiene and offering guidance on maintaining a healthy diet to promote oral health. Dentists may work in private practices, clinics, hospitals, or educational institutions, collaborating with other dental professionals, such as dental hygienists and dental assistants, to provide optimal care for their patients.

To become a dentist, an individual must possess a strong foundation in science, excellent manual dexterity, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. They must also complete a rigorous educational and training process, which typically includes obtaining a bachelor's degree, followed by four years of dental school to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Upon graduation, dentists must pass a series of national and state examinations to obtain licensure and maintain it through ongoing continuing education.
