Position Overview
Teach in the Sport, Skills, and Physical Activity Camp for children grades 3-6 at the direction of the camp director, Dr. Ken Murfay.
Responsibilities- 25% Supervise assigned groups during camp activities, ensure that participants proceed in an organized/orderly manner from activity to activity.
- 25% Ensure safety and respect in the academic building, provide motivation and enthusiasm to participants of the camp.
- 25% Monitor behavior of camp participants and assist with other duties as needed.
- 25% Understand and implement injury/accident procedures and attend camp orientation prior to the opening of camp.
Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
(1) Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by the unit leadership and HR.
(2) This is an hourly/non‑exempt position. A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non‑exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.
