The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) invites candidates to apply for Supplemental Instructor positions during Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. The role assists with EECS courses through office hours, help sessions, answering student questions, supporting instructors during class periods, and course development.

• Assist with various EECS courses by holding office hours, leading help sessions, and answering student questions.
• Support course instructors during class periods and assist with course development activities as needed.
• Maintain the required KU GPA of at least 3.0.

• Current student in the EECS department or a closely related discipline.
• Successfully completed the EECS course you will assist with with a grade of B or better.
• Minimum KU GPA of 3.0.
• Enrolled in no fewer than six credit hours per semester. For summer terms, must have been enrolled in at least six hours in the past spring semester, be pre‑enrolled for the upcoming fall semester, or otherwise meet the six‑hour requirement.

This is a student hourly, non‑exempt position. Student employees are not eligible for remote work arrangements unless an exception is approved by unit leadership and HR.

Advertised salary range: $14.00-$15.00 per hour.
