Horizon Systems is looking for a skilled and passionate Project Engineer to execute the practical aspects of our ingredient handling solution projects for success. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial equipment and processes, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into tailored solutions for our customers.

Driving overall project execution.

• Develop accurate flow, stack‑up, and GD drawings as directed by the Project Manager to meet established schedules.
• Work closely with Project Manager to provide engineering support throughout multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop expertise in the design aspects required by the customer for each custom project.
• Provide detailed reviews of production drawings, BOMs, and change orders to ensure accuracy and overall success of the project.
• Working cross‑functionally with customer, sales, production engineering, operations, and field technician teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Traveling 10‑25% (5 to 13 weeks per year).

• Familiarity with industrial equipment and ingredient handling systems, with the ability to quickly understand issues of a technical nature.
• Ability to make well‑reasoned, informed, and timely decisions, analysis, and problem solve.
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and leveraging Solid Works/AutoCAD drawings and technical schematics.
• Thoroughness, clear logical reasoning, an ability to focus, and a predisposition toward meticulous attention to detail.
