Our client, a leading food manufacturing/CPG organization, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Engineering to lead engineering strategies and initiatives across their production facilities. • Developing and implementing engineering strategies, procedures, and business plans to support the company's overall objectives.
• Leading and managing the engineering team to ensure efficient operation and meet project deadlines.
• Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
• Overseeing the planning and execution of capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Managing maintenance systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Liaising with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Evaluating the performance of the engineering team and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Identifying training needs and providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
• Keeping abreast of advancements and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering management role within the CPG industry.
• Proven experience in project management, scheduling, and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems and their implementation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, liaising effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in using project management software.
• Commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures.
