Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

The Role:

Driving Overall Project Execution

As a Project Manager
, you will be the point person for the overall execution of our projects, utilizing your technical prowess and relationship building to provide engineered solutions that enhance customer experience. Your primary responsibilities are:

• Ensuring overall project integrity, budget, schedules, and contractual obligations of intricate custom solutions
• Diagnosing complex customer challenges and engineering tailored solutions that drive efficiency and performance
• Building and nurturing long-term customer relationships, positioning Horizon Systems as a trusted partner
• Negotiating and structuring deals that align with both customer needs and company objectives
• Working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, operations, and field technician teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Prioritizing work of assigned Project Engineer(s) to execute deliverables both externally and internally
• Traveling 10-25% (5 to 13 weeks per year)

Achievement in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem solving, and excellent communication skills to drive projects from kickoff to successful start-up. We’re looking for a professional who embodies the following core competencies:

• Deep understanding of industrial equipment and ingredient handling systems
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, pneumatic conveying, and material flow principles
• Ability to read, interpret, and leverage Solid Works/AutoCAD drawings and technical schematics to drive project execution
• Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize and delegate responsibility of tasks to meet schedule requirements
