We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Mechanical Construction Manager to support our data center project in Baton Rouge, LA. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site and ensure the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Base pay range

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Maintain official project documentation files and logs.
  • Perform onsite inspections, walk‑downs, and other field administration tasks.
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, and other project deliverables to support the end‑of‑project turnover process.
  • Ensure all construction complies with design specifications and drawings.
  • Support the project management team in change management and monthly invoicing process.
  • Track work in place and construction progression.
  • Coordinate and manage daily tasks to support the progression of project schedule activities and accurate reporting.
  • Build a cooperative partnership between client, contractor, and stakeholders to resolve project issues and achieve overall project success.
Here’s what you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of construction site experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building.
  • Knowledge of general construction activity sequencing and execution.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing systems and associated equipment.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software and frequent on‑site presence on active construction projects.
  • Experience managing a project schedule.
  • Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance testing/reporting.
  • Experience with both pre‑dynamic and dynamic walk‑down and start‑up processes.
  • Knowledge of commissioning and qualification processes for MEP systems.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Data center construction experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in Automatic Temperature Control (ATC), Building Automation Systems (BAS), and process controls systems such as Delta

    V or similar.
  • Experience starting up equipment and systems and managing them day‑to‑day until project turnover.
  • Experience implementing LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including Last Planner System (LPS), 5S Construction, and off‑site manufacturing (OSM).
