ONSITE In our Lawrence, KS facility
Hours:
M-F, 8:30a-6pCSTDescription
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be licensed as a pharmacy technician who will enter new or refill orders, adjudicate insurance claims, and handle order exceptions.

We originated as part of an independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. Duties & Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently enter new or renewed orders
Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
Properly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred.
Must possess a State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
Experience with FrameworkLTC is required.
Type an average of 60 wpm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Can meet order deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
Can perform pharmacy calculations.
Is available for occasional overtime.
Must obtain a State Board of Pharmacy Technician License within 12 months of employment if not already certified.
Required Skills & Abilities Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred.
Must possess a KS State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
Preference on PTCB Certified.
Type an average of 60 wpm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Can meet order deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
Can perform pharmacy calculations.
Is available for occasional overtime.
Physical Requirements Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time.
Repetitive motion deskwork.
