Pay: $25.75/hour

Shifts:
- The position is a 12-hour shift (6 am‑6 pm) on the B crew. This is a 2‑2‑3 schedule, working 3‑4 days/week (One week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat; Next week: Sun, Wed, Thu).

Job Summary
The Production Relief Lead is responsible for the training of employees, assisting supervisors, and providing supervision in the absence of a Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Fill in for supervisors on same or other shifts when they are absent, temporarily assuming all supervisory responsibilities except disciplinary.
- Train to fill in for some or all of other key positions on the shift (e.g., Machine Operator, Baker, Packer).
- Follow all SOPs and SSOPs to maintain consistent product quality.
- Fill out all required paperwork accurately and timely.
- Lead and direct the team to meet daily tasks.
- Coach new hourly employees on quality, safety, sanitation, and productivity.
- Follow all FDA health and OSHA safety regulations.
- Set up the line and team for success each day and assist with production line as necessary.
- Achieve production targets.
- Ensure the team works safely.
- Measure pretzels to fit correct bag sizes and ensure weights, seals, and box counts are accurate and up to standard.
- Ensure any equipment malfunction is reported and fixed immediately.
- Ensure the area is clean and sanitized correctly and up to standard at the end of each shift.
- Assist the Supervisor in tracking attendance and timely arrival of employees in your work area.
- Perform daily quality inspections throughout the plant in all areas (processing, packaging, shipping, warehouse).
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Understanding of OSHA requirements.
- Understanding of safety programs.
- Certified for forklift and stock picker.
- Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kan‑Ban, FIFO, Min/Max (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Occasionally lift up to and move up to 50 pounds.
