Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities- Assessments, triage, helping out where needed, administration work.
- Communicate effectively with clinical team members, including physicians, through verbal and written documentation.
- Coordinate discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Apply collaborative teamwork and leadership as part of an inter-professional team to support quality outcomes in care processes.
- Utilize information, resources, and technology to support patient-centered care processes.
- Support evidence-based practices, safety initiatives, and process improvement strategies.
- Exemplify professionalism through lifelong learning, contributing to the science of nursing, and sharing knowledge.
- Participate in governance and uphold ethical, moral, and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of nursing practice.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance as an essential function of this position.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or a diploma.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification. (BLS requirement is waived if certified in ACLS and PALS.)
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Kansas.
- Drug Test Required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.
Workplace Type:
This is a hybrid position in Lawrence, KS.
The pay range for this position is $30.49 - $45.74/hr.
