Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room night shift position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or Compact) in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC in hand
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required, 5+ years and large facility experience preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted
• New graduates not accepted

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room department of a hospital setting
• 13-week contract on night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed, with expectation to help
• Floating required as needed, though rare
• No on-call responsibilities
• Orientation begins with daytime training in HR before transitioning to floor training
• Provide emergency nursing care within a hospital ER setting
• No block booking permitted for scheduling
• Credentials due by Wednesday prior to start
