Eliot is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) division. You will be working with our Healthy Families program, a pregnancy and parenting education initiative designed to help young, first‑time parents (up to 23 years old) create a stable, nurturing environment for their child.
The ideal candidate will be both independent and a team player, having strong communication skills and an awareness and sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and receptionist support; coordinate groups and events, fax, photocopy, mail, scan, file, and handle phone calls.
- Maintain active participant paper files, open new cases, and archive closed files.
- Maintain an accurate and updated client database and electronic medical records.
- Manage referrals (calls and emails) and contact referral sources and referred families.
- High School diploma or equivalent with demonstrated administrative and reception experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer literacy.
- Physical and Mental Demands:
Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting. - Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work and for providing services in the community.
- Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish may be eligible for a 6% salary increase.
32 hours flexible, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
CompensationHourly Rate: $19.25 USD.
