Scope of WorkJoseph's is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for providing an outstanding level of customer service and satisfaction to consumers of Joseph's Bakery bread products. This individual will possess a high level of interpersonal skills, have a strong attention to detail and the ability to think ahead and prioritize tasks. Job Description & Responsibilities- Lead on intake and responses to consumer inquiries via phone, email, and chat via Zen Desk platform.
- Reply to inquiries in a manner which supports company policies and reflects the brand voice.
- Assist with monthly customer service report.
- Contribute to monthly team meeting to cover monthly reporting of trends, issues & improvements.
- Identify and contribute to ongoing process improvement including FAQ creation / refinement.
- Additional duties as needed by business demands.
- At least 2 years experience in a customer service role preferably working with consumers (B2C).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Prior experience with Zen Desk and e‑commerce.
- Strong communication skills including oral and written formats that are audience appropriate.
- Enthusiasm and passion for customer service which includes active listening abilities, empathy, patience, and an overall positive approach.
- Focus on problem solving and taking responsibility for resolving issues with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment under tight deadlines.
- Ability to respond to time-sensitive requests and juggle multiple projects.
- Acts with integrity in processes, relationships, and communications.
- Interest in and working knowledge of the food industry.
