Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The purpose of the mid-level Supply Chain Analyst role is to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence within the supply chain function. Building upon foundational analysis skills, this role involves more complex data interpretation, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership in implementing initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, mitigate risks, and enhance overall efficiency. The mid-level Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role in aligning supply chain strategies with organizational objectives, driving continuous improvement, and fostering innovation to meet evolving business needs.
PRINCIPALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Gather, compile, and interpret data and present relevant assumptions to management.
- Beginner to moderate SQL skill/General Business Intelligence Skill (at minimum can read and understand logic of relevant coding language).
- Provide business/technical support to Corporate, Supply Chain, and Distribution Center personnel for Supply Chain system initiatives, including testing and implementing new technologies, functionality, or system or user enhancements.
- Support future system upgrades and execution of new functionality.
- Assist with the development of KPIs and measurement tools.
- Develop standardized reporting / dashboards as per business needs.
- Determine opportunities to redesign business processes to achieve better business results.
- Document and publish detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for technologies.
- Provide on‑going training to the Distribution/Transportation teams as required. This may consist of either remote and/or on‑site training as required.
- Responsible for troubleshooting issues, determining their underlying causes, and collaborating with other team members to develop effective solutions.
- Lead formal group training sessions by establishing training criteria, agendas, and follow‑up strategies.
- Manage master data as required.
- Audit various technologies to ensure that master data is being updated, maintained and proper procedures are being followed.
- Spearhead initiatives to improve the functionality of systems for the distribution centers.
- Serve as the primary day‑to‑day business/technical contact for technology service providers and distribution/transportation teams to aid if troubleshooting required and/or bridge between providers and field personnel.
- Cultivate and maintain successful relationships with other functional departments and business colleagues from various business units.
- May assist junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.
- May refer to senior‑level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.
- Escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.
- Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

EDUCATION- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Engineer, MIS, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
