OPERATING ROOM - NURSE MANAGER

Job Title: RN Nurse Manager– Operating Room

Rate:
Up to $3400.00 weekly

Location:
Lawrence, MA

Day Shift (10H) - (10A - 8P)

Orientation: 11/25 or 12/9

• The Nurse Manager ensures optimal efficiency in daily flow throughout surgical services.
• Evaluate and assess the daily schedule and staffing plan and to make adjustments to clinical assignments if necessary to enhance the overall performance of the department and functioning of the unit.
• Evaluate and respond to changes in the daily schedule in real-time including add-on cases, late running cases, resource allocation, and other situations as they present.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (anesthesia, surgeons, department chiefs) to balance daily changes while maintaining departmental efficiency, ensuring safe patient care and striving for optimal clinical performance and outcomes.
• Need to be competent for on call for all specialties.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience

• Must have at least (2) years of perioperative & surgical management experience
• EMR:
  Meditech
• Required documented experience with management.

Licenses/Certifications

• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
• CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) required
