The Endocrinology practice at the Riverwalk location is a collaborative, patient‑centered team specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances. The location offers a modern environment and is part of a broader MGB network.

We are seeking a full‑time, 40‑hour Nurse Practitioner to support our Endocrinology team. Clinic hours are Monday‑Friday 7:30 a.m.‑5:00 p.m.; scheduling can be flexible to meet department needs.

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider responsible for assessment and management of various patient populations, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of plans of care, and ongoing evaluation. The NP may also precept learners.

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow‑up based on outcomes.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to policies and procedures.
• Consistently documents high‑quality notes—admission, progress, procedure, operative, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to the patient population.

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years of licensed Nurse Practitioner experience required.
• 1 year of endocrine experience required.
• Previous NP experience in weight management and/or diabetes management required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenses required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver’s License preferred.
