Job Details- Position: Café Worker
- Location: Lawrence, MA
- Schedule: 6:30am- 2:30pm Monday-Thursday
- Hours: Full-time
- Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00
- Pay Frequency: Weekly – Direct Deposit

Job Summary
The Café Worker reports to the Chef Manager and is responsible for assisting with front‑of‑house operations including serving and assisting customers during the check‑out process, light food prep such as grab‑n‑go items and salad bar prep/maintenance, and stocking coolers while maintaining clean and orderly server/dining areas. The Café Worker also assists with washing dishes, trash removal and other utility‑related duties as part of a team.
EssentialFunctions And Key Tasks
- Operate the point of sale system and assist customers as needed
- Set up and restock product displays, coolers, and workstations
- Light food prep including baking cookies, preparing salad bar and grab‑and‑go items
- Wash, peel, and cut various fruits and vegetables for the salad bar
- Prepare and replenish the salad bar
- Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using hand trucks or carts
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand; remove trash and store in appropriate containers
- Ensure customers are taken care of and the department is clean and presentable at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, approachable, greeting, and thanking customers entering and exiting the café
- Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous food/customer service experience preferably within a corporate dining setting
- Dependable with excellent customer service skills
- Able to pull and lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to work independently as well as a team player
