Role OverviewAs a Lead Laborer, you will perform general labor tasks such as excavating, trenching, and shoring while working around heavy equipment. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising crew personnel to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
What You’ll Do- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising all crew personnel on daily job tasks.
- Accurately submit daily reports outlining job activities in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing work sequences to meet customer schedules.
- Comply with industry and customer operating procedures while ensuring safety and quality.
- Step in to lead the crew in the interim absence of the Foreman.
- Maintain all industry‑required Operator Qualifications.
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience in the gas utility industry.
- Prior experience interpreting plans and blueprints.

- Work includes lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and crawling.
- Work occurs near heavy equipment; quick hand‑eye coordination and constant alertness are essential.

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
