About the OrganizationJRI’s Children’s Friend and Family Services division is committed to assisting families and their children who are dealing with substantial behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary for them to flourish at home, in school, and within their communities.
CompensationThe pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year, adjusted for experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications.
ScheduleThis position requires availability to work from afternoons into the evenings. Weekend hours may be required but are not mandatory. The schedule is flexible and will be adjusted based on your availability as well as that of the client or family.
What You’ll Do- Offer a wide range of community-based services, including Community-Based Home Intervention (CBHI) services, to children, adolescents, and their families. Services include skill coaching, job coaching, life skills training, activity planning, community exploration, behavior management, treatment planning services, crisis management, and more.
- Foster positive relationships with external agencies, families, and other parties involved.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to identify the most effective methods for guiding and supporting youth in the community.
- Assist in the clinical care of youth and their families in home and community-based environments, empowering youth to reach their fullest potential within their home communities.

- Must be 21 years of age.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience working with youth and families in need of behavioral management to address mental health concerns or specific target populations.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn the needs of youth and families and a willingness to offer a variety of interventions and treatments.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, as transporting youth is required.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
